  Ohio IT Alliance

Who are we?  Ohio IT Alliance (OhioITA) is a state of Ohio Edison Technology Center, chartered by the Governor of Ohio with support and funding from the Ohio Department of Development's Thomas Edison Program.  Our purpose is to aid in economic development of Ohio’s Information Technology Industry.

Our statewide network of Regional Partners participates in funding local economic development initiatives in the six regions of the state. We work with our partners to achieve one common goal: growing and improving the competitiveness of Ohio's information technology (IT) industry. In conjunction with our Regional Partners, OhioITA works with Ohio's 10,700 IT companies, ensuring that Ohio's IT resources are shared, leveraged and optimized for the benefit of the entire industry.

Our Programs

Get IT Green Ohio  – (GIGO) a green initiative designed to assist Ohio companies in maximizing their existing power resources, save money on their energy costs, and improve their emissions.  Collaboration and blogging are also an essential function of this program.

Techloop- Ohioita is currently in development of a revolutionary new unbiased site that will connect IT professionals to products and services necessary to conduct your business. Equally important the platform for collaboration and exchange of ideas this site will provide. Members will have a forum in which to post and review White Papers.  Reverse Trade Fair: Nov 5, 2008 in Columbus,OH.

The Equal Opportunity Division (EOD) of the Ohio Department of Administrative Services is sponsoring a "Reverse Trade Fair"  on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. to allow state agencies to present their business needs to minority and socially and economically disadvantaged vendors.  The theme is "Networking for Success."  We would like to invite you to this event.
